Childhood Leukaemia Causes & Prevention

29th - 30th April 2008

The second CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA "Causes and Prevention of Childhood Leukaemia Conference" focused on environmental risk factors in the development of leukaemia and the interplay of these with genetic factors. It included talks across a range of scientific disciplines, explored the latest thinking on possible causes of leukaemia, and stimulated further debate and discussion across the traditional boundaries of these disciplines.

Following on from this conference CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA have launched a call for grant applications for research into the causes of childhood leukaemia. Visit www.leukaemia.org for more information.
